Harry Pothead?

Jamie Waylett has been busted for marijuana! Police pulled over Waylett due to suspicious behavior, then found EIGHT BAGS of weed in his vehicle.
It gets even better!!!
Police then searched his MOTHER'S home, finding 10 marijuana plants worth nearly $3,000.
Now seriously, why are you going to be growing it? You obviously have a little money to throw around.
Even furthermore, you should know its a lot safer to travel around with 1 bag. That way if you do get caught, it doesn't look like you're trying to sell 8 bags, leading police to go to your home and discover your reefer farm. I'll smoke a blunt in your honor, douche.

Ghostbusters Does Round 3

As you may have heard, the long overdue third installment to the Ghostbusters franchise is coming to a screen near you. Columbia pictures has The Office co-executive producers, Lee Eisenberg & Gene Stupnitsky to pen the script.

Now on to what you may not have heard...the originial stars of the film WILL BE RETURNING!!!! Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, & Ernie Hudson will be reprising their roles, although it is unsure as to how they will play in.

Its been said that the vets will be serving as a mentor role, giving room for a new set of stars to strap on the proton packs. This sounds exciting as shit. And to further the excitement, allegedly Rick Moranis (ya know, the nerd that gets chased by the ghost dog in the original) is also set to reprise his word.

This could be perfection.... For Columbia Pictures, I have two words: SIGOURNEY WEAVER!!

The New Freddy Kreuger

Academy-Award nominated actor Jackie Earle Haley has been tapped to strap on the razor sharp glove in New Line Cinema's reboot of Nightmare on Elm Street. You may have recently seen Haley in Watchmen as Rorschach.
This is some pretty great news considering several sites and blogs stated earlier this year that Billy Bob Thorton had been signed on for the role, which sounded a bit ridiculous.
The film, which is under the helm of Michael Bay, is set to release in 2010. Its usually awful to hear that one of your favorite horror films has gotten into the money-hungry hands of Michael Bay, who completely butched the Friday the 13th "reboot." Bay doesn't have an original bone in his body, as most of his movies are based on an existing event (Pearl Harbor), an existing tv franchise (Tansformers), or one of everyone's favorite horror franchises (Friday, Texas Chainsaw Massacre). Hopefully he can deliver a solid reboot with this one, as opposed to just another silly sequel with the "reboot" label thrown in to attract fans, such as the case for the Friday reboot.

Sykes goes Late-Night

As reported, the quick-witted Wanda Sykes will be hosting a new late-night comedy series for Fox, which will debut this fall. The show is still untitled, but its said to have Wanda giving her comedic 2 cents on current news stories, along with some pre-filmed sketches done out in the field.
This of course comes with the news of Mad TV being cancelled after its 14 year run. The show is funny, but it had definitely gotten pretty tired. Wanda could definitely bring something new and fresh to the table.
And who knows, maybe it things go well they will put her on weeknights. As of now, Fox has no Late-Night competition for Letterman or Leno, which will soon be O'brien.

Adam Lambert: "Mad World" & Mad Make-outs

Last night on American Idol, the finalists performed songs from the year they were born. It seems that Adam Glambert stole the show that night with his rendition of "Mad World" by Tears for Fears. However, if you tivo & watch idol without commercials like I do, you probably would have missed out on this performance due to Idol producers & directors constantly being unable to time out a show correctly(this is a main duty of a producer, & they fuck it up every time). Thankfully I also recorded Fringe, so I saw his performance, which I loved, but I'm not going to give too much credit since it's the exact same version that Gary Jewel released (the one you hear at the end of Donnie Darko).

Since I'm on the subject of Glambert, I must post some pretty entertaining pics of everyone favorite idol hopeful. These have been circulating on the web for the past few weeks, & even showed up on Bill O' Reilly. Here ya go.....Oh, you're welcome!
